ToucanTech provides a single system content management with database features, based in their cloud, it is not a CRM. The program is designed for smaller schools and associations which are most likely new to community management and fundraising, and are taking a very soft approach to it.

With features like Embeddable Giving Forms, a Donation Widget and integration with Advance from Gravyty, Graduway has everything you need to drive successful fundraising efforts. Even though ToucanTech offers alumni engagement, community outreach, a payments module and annual giving pages, it is not designed to successfully create and promote large digital fundraising initiatives, such as Giving Days or Crowdfunding campaigns.

Both platforms provide a place where community and alumni businesses can showcase their organizations and receive support from the alumni community. Beyond that, Graduway’s business directory allows Admin to promote certain offers and provide business owners a choice of paid or unpaid posts. It also enables community and alumni businesses to access a pool of alumni job seekers to find suitable candidates. Graduway can also automatically pull job postings from the Handshake, Indeed and Symplicity website RSS feeds. Conversely, ToucanTech provides only basic business promotion and job posting tools that aren’t valuable enough to drive additional revenue for institutions.
