The Gravytational Pull: How Gravyty Celebrates Success

What does it look like when a company actually lives its values?
Last month, we hosted our first-ever Gravytational Pull Award Ceremony, an internal event that recognized the outstanding individual and team contributions that powered our growth, innovation, and customer impact last year.
The theme was simple: gravity isn’t just a force that pulls things together. It’s what keeps us grounded, connected, and moving in the same direction.
We wanted to share a glimpse of what happened — because how a company recognizes its people says as much about its culture as any product launch or milestone ever could.
A year of growth and momentum
2025 was a pivotal year for Gravyty – unifying four separate companies and investing in our people, products, and customers.
The culture that powers it all
At the start of 2025, we defined four cultural commitments to guide how we worked:
- Performance-driven growth: Focus on measurable progress and achieving ambitious targets
- Open, constructive feedback: Foster a culture of honest communication and continuous improvement
- Accountability and ownership: Take responsibility for actions and outcomes, owning the entire process
- Impact and results over effort: Prioritize tangible value and meaningful outcomes
These weren’t just aspirations, they were operating principles. And they showed up everywhere, from how teams collaborated across product lines to how individuals stepped up during high-stakes moments like Giving Days.
Celebrating growth and longevity
One of the most gratifying parts of the ceremony was recognizing internal advancement and tenure, where the number of promotions were in the double digits. Plus, nearly 1 in 6 employees celebrated five or more years with the company.
That balance matters. Gravyty is a place where people can grow and where they choose to stay.
Kudos culture: Recognition in action
Before we handed out formal awards, we paused to celebrate something that happens every single day at Gravyty: peer-to-peer recognition.
Throughout 2025, hundreds of Kudos were given across every department. The themes that emerged told the real story of our culture:
- Customer impact: Teams rallying to solve problems and deliver results
- Giving Days: Cross-functional collaboration to ensure flawless execution during peak fundraising moments
- Responsiveness and ownership: People showing up for customers and for each other
The most visible wins don’t happen in isolation. They happen when teams align during high-pressure moments, and peer recognition is what fuels that alignment.
Award highlights: The work that defined 2025
We handed out over a dozen awards during the ceremony, each one reflecting a different dimension of excellence. Here are a few that captured the spirit of the year:
- Gravytational Amplifier Award: This award (and the ceremony’s namesake) recognized the person who most powerfully amplified Gravyty’s impact through education, consistency, and ownership. It’s the kind of leadership that delivers results and makes everyone around them better.
- Gravyty Assist Award: In 2025, Gravyty supported more than 300 Giving Days across our customer base. This required technical precision, cross-team coordination, and relentless focus on customer outcomes. This award celebrated the individual who led fundraising and stability work to ensure we delivered the best Giving Day performance in company history.
- Team Award: Cross-Orbit Collaboration: Sixteen people across Customer Success, Product, Support, and Engineering earned this award together. It’s a testament to what happens when silos disappear and teams align on a common goal: doing what’s best for the customer.
- Defying Gravity (Innovation) Award: Innovation isn’t always about building something new. Sometimes it’s about articulating value in a way customers can actually see and use. This award recognized deep customer research, cross-functional alignment, and product design excellence that fundamentally changed how Gravyty communicates what we do.
North Star (Mission & Values) Award: The Athlete Network team earned this one for embodying what Gravyty stands for: a consummate team-player mentality, driven by mission over ego, and focused relentlessly on helping student-athletes stay connected.
The impact, by the numbers
Talking about culture and values is easy. What’s not easy is showing what that culture produces. Here’s what Gravyty’s platform powered in 2025:
13 million+
Chatbot conversations answered by Ivy and Ocelot combined.
For scale: that’s more conversations than the entire population of Bolivia asking a question and getting an answer.
260,000+
Current and former athletes connected through Athlete Network.
That’s enough to fill three NFL stadiums.
100,000+
People actively connecting on Graduway-powered networks every month.
That’s roughly the population of Green Bay, WI (yes, the whole city!).
300+
Giving Days supported by our Advance platform.
That’s a giving day happening somewhere in higher ed nearly every single day of the year.
These aren’t just metrics. They’re proof that when teams show up for each other, they can show up for customers in extraordinary ways.
Looking ahead
As we head into 2026, we’re carrying this momentum forward in the work we do and how we recognize and celebrate the people doing it.
The Gravytational Pull Awards weren’t just about looking back. They were about naming what matters, honoring the behaviors we want to see more of, and reinforcing that at Gravyty, performance and people aren’t competing priorities. They’re the same thing.
To everyone who contributed to Gravyty’s success in 2025: thank you. You didn’t just meet the moment, you amplified it.
